Ernest Zwane, professionally known as Enny Man Da Guitar, was born in Lugedlane, Mpumalanga, South Africa, and later raised in Saulsville, Pretoria. Growing up in a township environment rich in local dance culture, he developed a strong interest in music at an early age. Influenced by Pretoria’s Bacardi music movement, he began experimenting with music production around 2011 while still young, teaching himself the fundamentals of beat creation and sound arrangement. These early experiences helped him develop a distinctive production style that combines rhythmic percussion with melodic guitar-inspired elements.
Enny Man Da Guitar gradually established himself within Pretoria’s underground dance music scene, working with local performers and producers while refining his sound. His career gained wider attention with the release of the single “Tse Nnyane,” a collaboration featuring Vusi Ma R5 and Kosha Za.
